Solid choice, but room for improvement

I used Zen Hotels to book a family package deal for a resort suite in Orlando. The website was easy enough to navigate and I found a good deal after some searching. The booking itself went through without issues. The resort was exactly as pictured, which was a relief. My only minor gripe was that after booking, I tried to modify a date slightly, and while it was possible, the process felt a bit clunky compared to the initial booking. Customer service eventually helped, but it took a bit longer than I expected. Overall, it was a positive experience and good value for money, but I hope they refine the modification process.

Found a cool spot

Needed a place in Austin last minute for a concert. Zen Hotels popped up with a few options. Found a budget hotel that wasn't too far from the venue. It was easy to book, like, just a few clicks. The place was fine for sleeping and showering, nothing fancy but it did the job. Got a good price too, so yeah, happy with it.

Great value on my first booking

I was looking for an extended stay hotel in Denver and decided to try Zen Hotels for the first time. I found a deal for 15% off and it made a big difference in the total cost. The booking was straightforward. It felt like I got a really good bang for my buck.

Good stay at a reasonable price

I booked a studio apartment in Miami for a week through Zen Hotels. The booking process was straightforward on their website; I found the filters for amenities particularly useful. Confirmation came quickly, which was good. The apartment itself was as described in the listing, clean and well-located. I had a small question about the check-in instructions so I used their online chat support, and they responded within minutes with clear answers. The price was competitive compared to other sites I checked for similar properties. I'd say it was a solid overall experience, no major hitches from start to finish.

Always reliable for getaways

This isn't my first time booking with Zen Hotels, and they've been consistent. I snagged a pretty sweet deal on a beachfront hotel in San Diego for a weekend getaway. The booking was smooth, same as last time when I booked a guesthouse. No surprises, which is exactly what I want from a travel site. Their listings are always accurate, and I appreciate that. I keep coming back because I know what I'm getting.

thinking of booking a holiday promotion deal on ZenHotels, but wondering how it compares to like, Booking.com or Expedia. anyone have experience?

L Laura Romero 1 month ago
I usually check all three. Sometimes ZenHotels has better deals, especially with flash sales. For my last trip to Denver, they were definitely cheaper than Booking.com for the same hotel.

They're pretty competitive. I'd say ZenHotels is usually in the same ballpark price-wise as Expedia, sometimes a little better if you catch a specific promo they're running. Always good to compare.

how's the cancellation policy on ZenHotels? looking at a booking but my plans might change last minute.

P Phil G. 1 month ago
It really depends on the hotel and the specific booking you choose. Some are free cancellation up to a certain point, others are non-refundable. You'll see it clearly when you're looking at the room options.

Make sure to read the fine print before booking! My friend got stuck with a non-refundable one once cause she didn't check.

hey, anyone know if you can stack coupon codes on ZenHotels? got a couple different ones from emails and wondering if I can use both.

D Daisy K. 2 months ago
Nah, pretty sure you can only use one at a time. I tried last month with a seasonal sale code and a newsletter one, only one would apply at checkout.

i think most sites are like that, just one coupon code per booking. worth a shot trying though, maybe some specific ones let you?

Does ZenHotels have a loyalty program or anything similar for repeat customers? Always looking for those extra discounts.

N Noor Carter 1 month ago
They do! I signed up a while ago, you get points or something that translate to discounts on future bookings. It's not a huge amount but every bit helps.

anybody know what payment methods ZenHotels takes? Just credit cards or like PayPal too?

C Cleo 2 months ago
Pretty sure they take all major credit cards. Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover. Not sure about PayPal though, I've always just used my CC.

Yeah, definitely credit cards. I think I remember seeing an option for PayPal too when I booked a few months ago, but don't quote me on that.
